Monitoring the Status of Inland and Coastal Waters
We are developing tools that will give us a real time or near-real time picture of the state of water over regional, continental, and global scales.
To meet this objective we have partnered with monitoring agencies throughout the world - including the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP), UNESCO, US Geological Survey (USGS), Russian State Hydrological Institute (SHI), and the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS).
